Mareep is a cute and fluffy Electric-type Pokémon from the Johto region. It has a round yellow body covered in soft, fluffy wool, with a white, fluffy collar around its neck and a tuft of wool on its head. Its face has two black eyes and a small, pink nose. It has small black ears and a white tail with a black tip. Mareep can store electricity in its wool, which grows longer and more lustrous when it is exposed to static electricity. It has a strong affinity for electricity, and it can become restless if it is not exposed to enough of it. It can shoot out a jolt of electricity from its tail, which can be used to power up electric devices. Its fluffy wool can also be used to make high-quality clothing. Mareep is a friendly and gentle Pokémon, but it can be startled easily and will run away if it senses danger.
