Cubone is a Ground-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves into Marowak starting at level 28. Cubone is a small, bipedal Pokémon with a light brown hide that covers most of its body. It has a spiky, bone-like shell that covers its head and back, with the skull-like head of its deceased mother on the front. Its eyes are small, black, and beady, and its feet have two toes. It carries a club made from a fossilized dinosaur bone, which it uses to protect itself. Cubone has a sad nature, having lost its mother at an early age. It cries every night, and its cries echo off the mountains and can be heard far away.
