Raticate is a Normal-type rodent Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Rattata after being fed 50 candies. It is the final form of Rattata. Raticate is a large, rodent-like Pokémon with a brown fur covering its back and most of its body.
Its long, thin body has a white underbelly and is almost completely covered in fur. Its ears are long and pointed, and its eyes are small and black. It has a long, thin snout with a triangular nose and two large buck teeth. It has a black, scruffy tail and long whiskers.
Raticate is a very aggressive Pokémon and is often seen attacking other Pokémon or scavenging for food. Its powerful jaws are strong enough to crunch through hardest of materials and its sharp claws can easily shred through anything in its way. Raticate’s diet consists mainly of vegetation, but it will also eat small insects, fish, eggs, and even food from other Pokémon. It has been known to cause great destruction in towns and cities due to its scavenging habits, eating anything in its path.
