Squirtle is a Water-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It was first introduced in the original games, Pokémon Red and Blue. This Pokémon is on of the starter Pokémon of choice for players of the original games, and is the first stage in the development of the formidable Blastoise.
This Pokémon is a bipedal turtle-like Pokémon, with a shell that is a shade of blue and a yellow underbelly. Its shell is a useful tool for defense and can shoot water at opponents as a form of attack.
Squirtle is a gentle Pokémon, and is often found playing in the water or sunbathing on a rock.
